HAPPY HOUR IS ALWAYS CELEBRATED AT SOME ONES 'RIG'
We are enjoying the company of our boon-docking, full-timing, RV friends at our rig. The weather was superb. We certainly will visit the Sawtooth Range again when we return to Idaho.
The trail riding on my Yamaha XT225 dirt bike (and my new Suzuki DRZ400S) was excellent! My friend, Dale Southern, led the ride through some rather challenging terrain. Another friend, Doug Hubbard, joined us while he rode my "extra" Yamaha XT225. It was a great ride through some fabulous forrested areas.
LIFE IS GREAT!

HERE'S OUR DISCOVERY M/H ALONGSIDE OUR WATER SOURCE
This photo was taken in 2005 at the Sawtooth National Forest Recreation Area

PUMPING FRESH MOUNTAIN STREAM RUNNING WATER INTO OUR 45 GAL WATER BOX

At this point the water is simply taken as it comes from the steam. When the tank gets full I reverse the hose arrangement and then pump it out of the water box and into our motorhome. It goes through the first stage filter, ( I call it our rock & grass filter), then the water is in our on-board 90 gallon tanks. All of our cold water faucets are filtered once more to remove all sorts of possible contaminents. Our water tastes great. So far, our water system allows us to be totally self sufficient. Our system enables us to have ample water for washing our 'rig', do laundry, take showers and wash the inevitable dirty dishes.
Life is good!

TAKE IT WHERE YOU CAN GET IT!
While we prefer to get our fresh water from a faucet, if it's too far away, (and there is another acceptable source), .... well, we take it where we can get it!
This photo was taken near Stanley, ID,(population 100), in the beautiful Sawtooth Mountain Range. It was a gorgeous campsite and we enjoyed it with a number of our fulltiming friends.
